AUGUST 24, 2020

6:30-7:00 PM

The public hearing was called to order by Supervisor Fleming at 6:30 PM with all Board members present and twenty two visitors in attendance. Following the pledge to the flag, the list compiled from the surveys was discussed. Many more surveys were submitted just before the meeting and added to the list. The president of the Little Point Sable Association gave a brief history of past and present surveys where their members expressed their desire not to have Buchanan Rd. from Scenic Dr. to Stone Church Rd. paved. The most recent vote was 61% against paving and 39% for paving. A former road commission lawyer discussed some of the safety issues involved with that section of road. Stop signs at that intersection were also discussed. It was noted that Stony Lake Road is shared with Claybanks Township and perhaps we can coordinate our efforts to repair that road. A motion was made by Shaw and supported by Neuman to adjourn, and the meeting was adjourned at 7:15 PM.

Respectfully submitted,

Margie Shaw, Clerk
