The hearing was called to order at 7:00 PM with all Board members present and 4 visitors in attendance. Following the pledge to the flag, the proposed 2017-18 Salary and Wage Schedule was read and discussed. The proposed changes to the 2017-18 Salary and Wage Schedule are as follows: The $100.00 annual honorarium for the Deputy Treasurer and Deputy Clerk was discontinued and the hourly wage increased to $12.00/hr. Township Maintenance Manager wage was set at $14.00/hr. Election Inspectors, Cemetery Care and Town hall Cleaning were all increased by $.25/hr. and the Receiving Board decreased by $.25/hr. Clerical was increased to $9.00/hr. to comply with the minimum wage law and the mileage reimbursement for outside the county was increased to $.54/mile. All others remain the same as last year. The 2017-18 proposed General Fund Budget was read and discussed. The estimated tax revenues and anticipated charge backs due to the Peterson tribunal were discussed. The proposed 2017-18 Ramp budget was read and discussed. Final figures for both the Fire District budget and the District Library budget were available. A motion was made by Shaw and supported by Smith to adjourn and we were dismissed at 7:15 PM.
