The hearing was called to order by the Supervisor at 6:50 with all Board members present and two visitors in attendance. This hearing was convened to discuss the proposed Zoning Ordinance amendment to change the minimum acreage needed for a single-family residence within an Agricultural District from 2.5 acres to 5 acres. Larry Byl was present and expressed both positive and negative concerns. The restrictions of PA116 on farmland, population trends, spray drift, and pre-existing 2.5 acre parcels were discussed. A motion was made by Shaw and supported by Neuman to adjourn and we were dismissed at 7:10PM.
